Make Your Own Cannabis Bath Salts

Taking a cannabis bath is a great way to warm up and show some extra lovin’ to your skin. Cannabinoids such as CBD and THC have been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects which can be beneficial for those with psoriasis, eczema, joint pain, and muscle aches. Combined with the healing benefits of Epsom salt and essential oils, this bath is a great way to pamper yourself during the colder months.

What You Need:

28 g of cannabis flower
500 ml of avocado or coconut oil
Epsom salt
Essential oils (We used a blend of lavender, geranium and rosemary, but feel free to choose what scents you like)

6 x 4oz jars

Instructions:

Step 1: Decarboxylate your weed
Preheat your oven to 115°C.  Remove any stems from your cannabis and place it on top of a baking sheet. Bake for 30-40 minutes.

Step 2: Make cannabis oil
Heat the decarboxylated cannabis and coconut oil in a small pot on low, stirring occasionally for an hour.

Step 3: Fill the jars
Fill each jar with ¾ of Epsom salt and 5 tablespoons of cannabis oil, along with 5-10 drops of each essential oil of your choice. Seal jars with their lid and store them in a cool, dry place until ready for use.

Enjoy responsibly!
