Did you know that cannabis-infused cooking oil can be easily incorporated into a wide range of recipes?
This step-by-step guide will walk you through the steps of making your very own infused cannabis oil for your next home-cooked meal.
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 oz of dried cannabis flower or half an oz of hashish
2 cups of water
1 cup of coconut, sesame, or olive oil
1. Place ingredients into a slow cooker and heat for 8 hours.
2. Allow contents to cool. Then pour through a coffee filter, pressing firmly to squeeze the oil and water from the cooked cannabis flower into a bowl.
3. Place the bowl of water and oil into the freezer overnight. The infused oil will float to the top of the mixture.
4. Wearing gloves, scrap the oil off the surface of the bowl. Make sure to discard any brown, frozen water.
5. To keep the oil from going rancid, store it in the freezer.
6. Make sure to start low and go slow when it comes to dosing; this oil can be quite potent.
Enjoy responsibly!
